They can take your camera, but there has to be a crime.... Like if you film your buddy murder someone, then obviously they can take your camera. but the only crime I saw was one guy did a wheelie behind the cop and he may have switched lanes 2 or 3 times without a signal.
The cop cannot take your property without reason to believe there was a crime. Otherwise he has to have a warrant. You can tell them that and they won't like it but it's how it goes. ****Also may come in handy, as long as you say "In my opinion" You can get away with almost anything besides threatening. So you can say "In my opinion, you are a complete dumb a$$" to a cop and get off scot free cause you have freedom of speech and personal opinion. Well that's how it is in Canada anyways.

This stuff makes me mad. I am by no means a young kid and I ride my street bike pretty conservatively but booooh.

I'd shut up and lawyer up. That would cost the city/county for sure. The biggest mistake the biker made is getting confrontational. Let them arrest you and fight in the courts.
