For anyone interested in the "progress" out at Reiter, there is a public showing of "THE new trail" this saturday at 9am.  there is a corresponding volunteer work party also. the picture of "THE" trail shows a completely gravel filled pathway, bordered with downed tree segments......hmmmm. they are meeting at deer flats rd at 9.

Come out and give your feedback. I went up there yesterday and looked at what they have done. They are surfacing the entire trail with rock. Many of us have tried to steer them away from this, but they are set on making this thing bullet proof to the Fern Lickers that are scrutinizing our every move. They are open to input on trail features to toughen up the experience. I wish that they could have made them more natural and used the features that Reiter provides in order to make the trail tougher. We need to provide feedback so they go in the right direction with the rest of the trails...   Please come out  and provide that feedback.

I guess they will have some nice walking trails once no one rides there. On the other hand it might give the ADV guys a place to feel they got their BMW off road.
To think this used to be the premier single track in the area. I'm I'll looking at this complete waste of our Funds.

Time to cut off the funding.

Either they are incompetent or are intentionally wasting our money or both.

Wow... just,... wow!  What a bunch of idiots.  All the time, money and effort... TOTALLY WASTED!!!  Even if we did get to ride on it someday... how long did they expect the rock to stay in place?  This is so idiotic on SO MANY levels.

It looks like a trail in a park!!!
After spending all this time and money I hope they won't be disappointed in the changes a few runs with a knobby on a 450 will make.
