Hey, i have a 2008 TTR-230

I'v been racing this bike for a few months and im getting tired of the front suspension and the uglyness of the forks lol.

I was thinking a pair of yz125 forks would replace the stock ttr forks, might not be a perfect fit but i'll make it fit.

Would yz125 forks work?

I'v seen articles where they replaced stock TTR-230 forks with yz250f but im thinking the yz250f forks will be way to big, but maybe im wrong?

The fork the YZ 12fizzle are the same as the forks on the 250f.  Both KYB 48mm twin chambers.

If your serious about racing a race model bike would be better overall.

IMHO save your money on forks and instead by a race bike.

Oh no, trust me im not going to be able to get a race bike. My bike pretty much has the power of a yz250f (power, not acceleration) because of all the engine work i did. I Just need a plusher suspension and i hate being the only one at the starting gate with fork boots, it doesnt look sexy lol. But i am going to invest into forks. Btw my dads looking for a 2-stroke rm or yz for him but im sure if he ever buys one for himself i'll just eventually talk him into trading bikes. But t'ill then i need forks

What did you do to the bike that it makes the same power as a 250f?

You'll need to do the usual for a fork swap.  Get the front end off a bike of your choice.  Swap the steering stems out of the triples and hope that their diameter fits correctly.  Setup new steering stops on the new lower triple.  Adjust overall length of forks to match stock setup through lowering or adjusting them in the triples.
