Looking for some advice on a proper shim stack. Here is what I am looking to do.

I am turning a crf150rb into a Supermoto bike. This bike will be used for paved tracks only, no dirt or jumps.

I have already ordered stiffer spring and I have torn into the suspension.

Here is the stock showa fork valve stacks.

1x.10x10
1x.10x16

The forks do not have mid valving.

Here is the stock showa shock valve stacks.

Obviously this suspension is set up for jumps and rough terrain. So I would like to have the bike to ride stiffer with maintaining traction in corners. I also would like to keep some plushness over bumps (bumps in pavement).

Will adding some face shims be good enough? Take out the xover shims? Any suggestions from the suspension guru's will be greatly appreciated.

Mid valve is where its at really...
I know that much but not enough to be specific.  But personally I would experiment with a clamped midvalve on pavement. Zero float.
