Stock everything. Bottom end is good. Top end is great. Middle seems like its loading up for just a bit then clears up and runs great. Lots of spooge out the exhaust. Drop clip 1 groove?

Raise the clip to lower the needle = leaner.

The Phillip head screws on top of the mikuni are like butter. I will strip them if I keep trying. Any suggestions? I am going to replace with stainless steel allen heads if I get them off. Haha

Tap the screw heads w/ a hammer it releases tension on the threads. Also a good US made screwdriver ie. Snap-on, Mac, Matco etc.

Would a leaner needle fix this issue I described in my first post?

Maybe...Sometimes, excess spooge and rich conditions are caused by the pilot jet.  Where is your air screw set at?

Because they are JIS screws, not Phillips.

When was the last time you did a top end on the bike?  and did it just start acting like this or what?

Air screw is 1.5- 1.75 turns out. Top end is original. I bought it from a guy who bought it new and said it has like 5-10 hours on it. He just rode it on his land. It looks brand new. The frame had zero boot scuffs and neither did the cases. It's nice.

Oh yeah, I have only ridden it twice. Raising the clip made a huge difference. It ran really good just still leaky. I repacked the muffler thinking the packing would be saturated but it was half new looking and the half where the exhaust exits was kinda saturated but not bad.
