Why are you clamping on a 20? It should be a 18 ? The stack looks soft apart from that, what weight,  springs,  riding type ? What sags do you have?  What float on the mid?

Sorry I'm still learning so bear with me..
I didn't make the stack, just trying to fix it )
I did my race sag per the manual, 3.9 in
Trying to get dialed for off road/ hare scramble type riding,,
No I dont bottom out except on real big landing on the track. How do I check the float??

I think the float is 1.30 mm?? Measure between the bottom of the midvalve and the cup spacer?

You need more sag,  103mm will put less weight on the forks and might help ( sounds backwards ) the float is something easy to measure but do a search on here on how to do it,  its a little tricky to explain

You could go down a rate in springs but sometimes one rate lower when tested are not enough different to what you gave ( they vary by 0.1 from set value )

Do you have the forks aligned correct?

K thanks, The forks are aligned correctly... I have some .41 springs & I'll try I guess and play with the sag numbers a bit...

Machining the outer edge of the mv cup down to just enough to hold the spring in is a great improvement.  The face shims hit the outer edge too easy in stock trim.  That and going to an 8.5 or 9 mm clamp in the mid as well
But keep your float at .3mm ish and maybe try a stack like this
(4)20
(2)17
    15
    13
Clamps

Bv maybe a little soft though

the stock base valve is a 2 stage.  i went to a single stage for a fast mxer and it was too stiff.  i ended up going back to a 2 stage, which i usually dont like to do for mx.  that particular bike likes a 2 stage for some reason.  especially for offroad.
