aftermarket tail light for 79 DT400?

I found an old basket case DT that I've brought back to life but it had the standard rip off all the lights trail treatment and am trying to get it ready for legal road riding.

Anyone know something that would work for a tail light for a 79 DT400?  I'm not looking for stock just something cheap and simple but I'm not sure if I could use one of those LED setups with the 6V setup.  

Ideally I'd like to switch it to 12v, but right now I just want to get it on the highway asap.
