I would really like to ride at hollister hills svra this weekend. But I have a red sticker, so if I put a spark arrestor on it would it be okay to ride there now? And how much can you be fined for riding during non red sticker season?

No. Hollister Hills won't let you in with a Red Sticker bike. If you go in after hours and they see you riding a Red Sticker they will fine you and it will be very steep. The Spark Arrestor won't protect you from breaking the Red Sticker rule. You must have a Spark Arrestor or that is a different fine and violation.
If you drive up there with a Red Sticker bike you will not be able to ride. They control that extremely tight. Sorry, its a super lame law.

Red sticker has nothing to do with spark arrestor. It's based on the emissions of the bike. Exhaust.

They can tell by the 8th digit in your VIN if it's red or green. If its a 3 or C it's a red sticker. Yes it is the stupidest law that this state has plus we also have to pay the same amount as green stickers for our registration but only get to ride half as much.
