Good luck, its ATV madness up there!  Went up last fall, saw a couple dirtbikes around, they were probably riding illegally.  Used to hear of people riding in Iron River.  Put training wheels on your bike and call it a quad...Or, do what I did and bring a mountain bike and ride in Chequamegon.

I think Wi has about 4000 miles of public ATV trail and maybe a couple hundred where you can legally ride a dirtbike?  And about 50 miles of decent singletrack total.  I think there's lots of "unofficial" riding that goes on as a result, too.

50 miles of singletrack is prolly quite a bit on the high side. Duracuse is the only place I know of for MX bikes. The other trails require a plated bike.

Actually you can ride Black River Falls and Knobby ridge without a plate, but yes - that might be the only singletrack in the state ?!?!
