Chasing my buddy on his GasGas 300 on my Berg FE 450 on the single track at Snyder Creek in Colorado.  Good fun!

Your Berg is really quite! Are you running the stock exhaust and tip?

The sound of hitting the branches was much louder than the exhaust.  I love quiet bikes  .

Stock can on the 'Berg with the tube on the exhaust tip shortened to the brace.  It is still quiet, but definitely flows better.  From the saddle, it has a perfect muffled thump to it.  The thing rips my arms off anyway when I am on it, no need to make a bunch of noise.  My buddy's GasGas 300 comes with an FMF Stealth on it.  That this is quiet too, and it will definitely rip your arms off!

I am with you guys - quiet is the way to go!

Funny thing with these new gen Bergs - the intake song is nuts.  With the air intake in your lap and pointed at your face, the sound is cool as hell when on the cam and into the throttle.  Such an evil howl.  I like it!

I too have the stock can, never really found a reason to change it out other than weight savings. It does create good horsepower as is. The only mod I made was changing out the tip for a "Pro Moto Billet" tip to help her breath and really come to life. Just curious as yours sounds less noisy than mine but maybe it is the video playing tricks on me???

Yup....and it get's even more evil when your seat comes off! I was doing some single track the other day, dancing my way through the rocks when all of a sudden I heard a very loud "hissing" noise coming from beneath me. I look down and found that the seat was popped off and wedged between the bike and my leg. Hope this does not become a reocurring issue, especially when racing the local events.....
