I'm thinking of selling my 09 YZ 250(2T) and going back to a KTM. I'm looking for a bargin and have found 3 choices. I'm interested in your thoughts. I'm an over 40 fast B / slow A rider and race enduros and hare scrambles, and primarily ride single track.

1. A brand new 09 300 XC-W for $5700 with pipe guard and skid plate
2. A factory demo 2012 200 XC-W with 6 hours on the bike for $5999
3. A 2012 Husaberg TE 250 (2T) for $7499

I left riding a 2008 250SX set up for off road and spent a little time on a YZ 450 before I realized I'm not a 4T rider. The YZ 250 was a good deal but I'm not getting along with the bike and ready for a change.

I like the torque of a 300 (owned an 05 300EXC for 3 years), but like the all around versatility of 250 2T's. I've never ridden a 200, but have heard great things about the bike.

So any thoughts on what is the best deal?

Thanks

New Bergs are basically blue KTMs so the parts availability should be the same. All three deals seem pretty good, the 300 is probably the best choice for you from what you have described, it just depends on how much you care about having the newest model and whether the 2k dollars difference is worth it to have a 2012.
