This makes the weekly picks really hard now. Will he be 100% or will he be slowed down enough for Dungey to win???

That's what made me go ahead w/ Dungey this week.  I think hes gonna capitalize on this...
But, I still have js7 for the fastest qualifier.  Hell still be faster, but the question is can he ride fast for 2 motos thru the pain and at that pace w/ Dungey up his ass?

Hard to tell. Did he try out a 30 minute practice moto before making te decision or is he being a racer who wants to show up and battle the best he can? Only he knows if his wrist will be strong enough to hold on for 2 full motos. I just hope he isn't coming back too soon that he risks a more serious injury. Hard to bet against the guy, but that track at High Point is rough!

Yea man I'm not sure.  You'd think hes been on the bike this week.  I was under the impression the DR. told him it was ok to roll, but not sure.  But yea, that would make complete sense if he's been out running a few motos, checking times and seeing how the wrist feels!!  Well just have to see Sat!!  Gonna be good because now were gonna get back to some good racing!

One thing for sure, and I know motocrosser's think they are "goofy", but I would be throwing some full wrap Cycra handgaurds on that Zuke juuuust in case!

Or that wrist brace that Barcia wears.

I thought they said he had been riding but he was having trouble holding on for more than a few laps. Not sure where I heard that but it was early in the week (maybe tues.?). they didnt state whether it was because of pain or if it was just too weak to have a good grip on the bike. I hate to say it because I know its just going to open a can of worms, but given his history as of late I doubt he would ride if he didnt think he could win, no matter how much fun he's having

He rode today and is weak in hand but should be fine. Im going to put him in second just cause ofbthe being weak part..fq though..just dont think he can last full time being weak in it.

Its the squeezing part that is painful from what i was told.. No tears or breaks so far.

well if the Pro Forum is correct James is just a drama queen anyways, Im sure he's fine LOL

Hope the adrenaline kicks in and gets him through the two motos again, then he will have another week to rest the wrist and work on getting it strong again.

As fast as James and Ryan have been racing i would think he could just take it easy and still get second and the points wouldnt be too bad in the championship.
as Chad Reed says "you gotta be in it to win it"

I think he should give a wrist brace like Barcia's a try.

I cannot see where Stewart at anything less than 100% can hold off Dungey.    Maybe he can just sit on his rear fender and put in some good laps.

If he starts going all out someone has to remind James that he's not getting paid and he's taking a HUGE risk.

That still won't add much strength to his grip.

I've posted before and still feel the same way....since the season is Dungey vs. Stewart, JS will win the championship. RD doesn't have the speed. If Villipoto was in..he would repeat. This is Stewarts year. Especially (As I hoped) he is on the right bike....he had to get rid of that backward bike to win...now he has the right bike hes got this season

Watch close, you might just get to see the opposite.  Dungey does well at High Point.  One more soil sample and you can write Stewie off for the season, not that he would be mathematically out of it, but he'll start hearing the voices again.
