BV is full of cabinets, displays and products... so only 2 bikes fit and a golf cart will go in the toy hauler.

Budds Creek last year

Are you sure you have the tow capacity? It looks like you might be eating some of it up in the box van. The low nose is setting you up for a fish tail. That trailer is way heavier than a TT empty. You are going to feel it back there. I think MPG is more about wind resistance than weight once you get it moving.

You may need some bags and something to get the proper hitch height so the trailer sits level...

Thinking air bags too. went up 2 links on the antisway bars plus moved bike and some heavy stuff out of the truck and into the back of the toy hauler.....much better but still needs to be higher.

Looking at putting this 16,000 LB hitch and cutting a hole in the Stainless bumper & air bags so it sits higher.

Nice TH, but way too much for your current setup and two rig.
That really is a accident waiting to happen... you can get it down the road,, right until you need to do an emergency stop or avoidance maneuver.

Try dumping the water holding tank, moving as much as you can for heavy items to the tail of the TH.. What do you have stored in the front compartment? Can you move it? The propane tanks can get stored in back for now...

All of that is a pain, but can help until you get the two rig figured out.

Airbags might help for sure...
Might want to go weigh the set up, to include tongue weight.

Only then can you configure the tow rig correctly…
Front and rear tow rig axle weights.
Axle and tongue weights.

Three axle weights with the trailer loaded as you intend to for travel.

Yea please get that level air bags are going to bring you up maybe 3" or so.
Also take it to a CAT Scale and Weigh it and you will see how much are on each axle. http://catscale.com/

Here a pic of our setup had to move the pinbox down it get it level.

Besides the fact you'd fish tail with that...any kinda steep entrance or hole and you're dragging something, lol....may not destroy it if you take it slow, but it scrapes and sounds bad, lol.

I agree on the bags...not super expensive for a simple towing kit, and itd make a world of difference in height and stability.

Sweet rig by the way ron

Rig and trailer Pulled straight as an arrow the 600 miles home at Speeds ranging from 60-80 MPH. Yes it will scrape the bottom of the hitch on some places where the angle gets steep but it was fine going down the road.

Plan is to get a different higher 16000 lb hitch and air bags.

Wow thats with a load distributing hitch..... i second the way over the capacity of the vehicle... Looks to me like to max tow rating is 10k(with the v10 or the 7.3 diesil) minus the weight of the box for the truck and whatever is in the box so i would have to say your pushing it. Good luck though....

After seeing your close up pics, it's not that the tow vehicle is overloaded, it's the hitch height on the tow vehicle is so extremely low due to having to clear the rear steps.

Airbags and a proper hitch height will make a HUGE difference.
