So, word is Elko is having MX practice again this year (starting May 31st actually) I haven't made it down there yet this year but hope to for sure. Practice is every Thursday from 3-8 I believe.

Anybody on here gone yet?

Hopefully, they get enough people to keep offering this track to us!

Yeah, I think I just saw that Meadow Valley is sponsoring it. I remember going to Elko a few years back and it was a really fun track. Now that I work 2nd shift I can't do any kind of riding on weeknights...

Going this Thursday the 21st if the weather holds out. Anybody else?

It'll be interesting to see if the track has changed from last year

Meadowvalleymx of course! I guess they are managing practice this year and have a schedule posted on their site. I really had to do some detective work to find out if it was still around but it is. They need to get the word out if they want to make some money (even though they jacked the price up to $30 now)

For those interested: talked to Roger at Meadow Valley last night and it sounds like Elko PX will be cancelled for this Thursday due to all the rain

Going today 450? I think I am got the bike loaded up. Will probably sweat to death, but it'll be good to get some practice in before the next Millville race, which for me will be the national weekend Friday.

It was pretty fun today.  Did you end up going snopro?

Not a fan of the all the short kicky little jumps and the goofy landings on some of the bigger jumps, but it was fun as a whole though.

I wasn't able to make it out there AGAIN. I plan on giving it a shot again on the 19th

Yep I was on a 12 Kiwi 250. Are you talking about the jumps right near the entrance to the track? Those were a little annoying, but I didn't mind them. The section that was sketch for me was after the what I guess are whoops and coming back around there was a double and the step up with a triple type landing. That damn double had some ruts on the face that my tires didn't like. Mini swapped on one that twice, fell off once. And the ruts on the step up were crazy, especially when the suns in your eyes. Needless to say I didn't triple that section.

Yeah, none of the little jumps were sketchy, just a bit annoying.   That rutted triple you speak of is the one with the goofy landing I dislike.

What number have you got on your bike? I was the YZ250 with 264

I was wondering about that. They took the flyer off their site and was wondering if it wasn't worth the time. They hauled up their dozer and water pump trailer for the day last time I was there. Seems to be a lot of work

Did anyone determine if they are doing it anymore?
