What is it worth?...and what if any things should be looked for in buying a used Polaris?

I picked up my second Polaris today. A non running 1993 SL 750. Its was bought as a parts machine(mag piston has ahole the size of a bb burnt into it. Motor spins freely and evrything is there.Probably get it running for less than $150-$200. Pretty much everything interchanges with my 95 except the jet pump and the Ebox. and even those could be made to work in a pinch.
I paid $100 for it....brought it home...then  I thought about it and then re-listed for $300. Dude is coming to look at it tomorrow.
