I recently bought an 05 450 EXC and I am loving it. I have noticed slight oil leakage out of the weep hole on the left side of the head near the water pump. I hear that this means the cam oil seal. I was wondering how hard this is to replace and if its something I can put off for a few years or if its going to get worse quickly? If all it means is adding a couple ounces of oil every couple of rides I will put it off until i need new valves or something...

It's a simple repair.  Fix it and you won't have to think about it.  Travis has a good video on this repair.  It will take you an hour tops if you have never done it before.  Buy the replacement seal carrier w/ the seals already installed.  Dave Hopkins has good instructions on how to install the seals in the carrier if you want to save a couple of bucks and not buy a new carrier.  New seals and O-rings are cheap.
