Easy.... Get the holeshot and stay in the lead! haha   I use a the thor roost protector because it's lightweight and has great coverage

Let the roost build up the anger inside of you then go take out that bastard, and then make sure when you pass him to hold it wide open and turn the rear wheel to his face. The more anger you use the better, if you really need run over his leg or something at the same time, you wont even remember you were roosted after that.
Ps. Your welcome.

i recomend, looking straight down, then getting up on there back tire real close so it cant get high enough to hit you, then pass. or else suck it up, or quite raceing/ridding.

Cool I'm on rmz 450 ,#23. I might be near the pits to say hi to someone I know, but prolly will park closer to the main. If you still have any energy to ride after your second Moto head on over!

Check the SoCal section, there is a thread called track riding. We setup a lot of rides on there

The best advice is just to avoid it. One really valuable thing I learned from FCA Camp and from some of Villopoto's instruction is line choice. They talked about using every inch of the track and just being creative. Villopoto stressed that most main lines are nowhere near the fastest lines and by avoiding these lines you usually miss the roost. Another key is to learn the art of squaring up corners because it REALLY works! It is a great technique because it gets you out of roost and can set you up for an easy pass. Besides that, when you need to take the roost you duck and grit your teeth. I know nothing besides that everyone feels the same pain. I think we all end up with welts or bruises so just get out there and roost someone else!

Well I didnt really have to deal with it much and it didnt seem to bother me once in race mode..

I raced REM on sat and got 1-2 and 2nd overall and on sunday did the team race in SRA and pulled a massive holeshot until I dumped it... good weekend overall  I just kept my head down and stayed out of the spray if I saw it coming.
