When does my 450 need to get a rebuild. It has had an easy life for 100 hours so the guy we bought it of made it seam. I've put 20 hours on it since I got it and that's just about every weekend riding. I don't putt around I ride it pretty hard so it's had a fare go in the 20 hours I've had it.

So when do these bikes need a rebuild shorly not at 120 you I'm just curious I've when it needs to be done because I am starting to race it soon and don't what to go over the recemended hours of a rebuild
The Manual hasent been very helpful so far so what do you guys do.

I have the same bike, and I would check your valves to make sure they are in spec. As far as rebuilding it I would say if its not broke don't fix it.

Valves are rock solid on that motor, rings suck however. When oil usage becomes an issue just replace with the 2010 top end and let her rip. My 2008 needed a rebuild at 165 hours.
