What did I do to my rib / sternum?

Crashed 3 weeks ago.  Dislocated thumb, broken scaphoid, sprained ankle...and what I thought was some rib separation in my upper left chest....perhaps the top most rib.  Since the crash...I have had painful muscle tightness around my upper back chest and shoulders.  I have now learned that this is common with a broken sternum.   Well...that pain in my upper chest has now mostly subsided...but now I noticed that there is this BUMP...where my top rib connects to my sternum/manubrium. The location of the bump is immediately below the end of the collar bone (about 1/2"-3/4").  Below the bump (down my chest) about 1/2" more...there is a hollowed out area too.  .  It is almost like the 1st rib to manubrium connection was damaged...and the rib end is pushed up and out.

Should I worry about this?  It seems strange that it would finally stop hurting....after 3 weeks...and at the same moment...I notice this (new) deformity. (I have  follow up appointment with the wrist doc next week.  While rib/chest orthopedics is not the docs specialty...I figure they could tell me if this warrants further medical attention....)

Hmm...looks like I may have separated the Costal cartilage that connects the 1st rib to the manubrium of the sternum.

There is a lot going on in that area.  Probably not a good thing.

You should see how far my collar bone sticks out of my chest...Apparently nothing I can do about it now, doctors didn't even notice it at first and now it's been too long apparently. Make sure to see a couple doctors so then can fix it before it's full of scar tissue.
