I recently moved from Colorado to Iowa, and clearly need to rejet my FCR.  I tried contacting Jerry at FSW but haven't received a response yet, it was originally setup for riding around 6000ft and now I live closer to the 900-1000ft range. I have a 300 with the crank case breather mod, FSW header, less restrictive air filter and the FCR 35. Any suggestions where to start with jetting this thing for the Des Moines, Iowa area?

Thanks as always.

My son has an FCR on his yamaha and they told him about 10% down to go from Kansas to Colorado. I guess the reverse would be true for you. I would definately check the plug to make sure you are not too lean or rich after a ride.

Did you have to make any modifications to your bike in order to install the FCR ? Did you have to get a different throttle cable set up ?

Thanks for the reply. I installed the FCR just as Jerry sent it, and if I remember right I had to change the throttle cables. It was a super tight fit, not any room to spare. Besides that I'm pretty sure it went right in, no other mods.

Jerry jetted my fcr35 50p, ocdvr needle 3rd clip, 150m, fuel screw 1.5 turns out, 200 main air jet, pilot air jet 1.5 turns out  for my 09 klx 250s. Installed a big bore kit 350, rejetted 55p, 155m. I'm at sea level.  Best of luck
