Hey guys need some advice. My suspension was sent out to factory connection and revalved for woods. I cannot get the rear end to hook up. The sag is set right but it seems im just not getting down pressure on the rear tire. Like its just skimming the surface. My rear tires are chewing to shreds and not hooking up at all. Not sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Did you call FC? Is it possible by now your linkage bearings are toast? If i'm right you have a 03CR250, I had this bike too and I had to change the lower shock bearing at least every year. Also, did you try different tire pressure?

Did you notice how smooth was the swing-arm and all linkage bearings when you last removed the shock? To me it sounds like at least one frozen bearing in order to skip so bad. If all bearing move free then it's a good idea to call FC because you must have some sort of guarantee with the work.

try messing with your rebound adjuster it might be to stiff or slow..

speed up /soften the rebound

Yea now that you say this it is making sense. It handled better when i first put it all back together and just seems to be getting a bit worse. Im going to take apart all the linkage tonight and check it out. Do you know if the bottom shock bearing is pressed in or not?

It is pressed on but there is a hidden circlip that has to be removed. I used just a vise and different size sockets to put the new bearing on.

Figured it out.... Tire pressure gauges with a dent in the side dont work all that well  i will use a digital one from now on. I was running about 23lbs in the rear and 25 in the front

 Shit.....
Reminds me, back when I raced stock cars we would actually pit next to the guy running second in points (myself first of course).   My dad was talking to him about guages. We have a high dollar analog Guage. he had a Shit house guage my dad let him borrow ours well his was almost 10psi off.  He got a little faster running the right tire pressures I was like "dad what the &%$#@! did you do?". Still raped that series 8 wins 11 races.
