Hey guys I was impulsive and purchased a klz/drz 125 locally. Against my better judgement I bought the bike even though it didnt run very well, I figured it had carb issues. I do not believe it has the carb installed, this one says Keihin PC 10F HSSE on the right side of the carb.

The bike has loads of issues and I think I may have made a poor choice in picking this thing up.

NO BRAKES!!! Both rims have rotors but no calipers/ not stock klx125 rims. Forks/swingarm/ rear suspension seams to be stock.
Clutch was basically on or off, only grabbing at the end of the lever throw.

Carb seemed to be ghetto rigged onto the bike, however it did run roughly. The engine ran better when hot, it would not rev out very well and was bogging. Poor throttle response, bogging if to much throttle was applied.

Basically Im a klx newb and need your guys knowledge to get this bike running well.

I have the service manual pdf. And I just confirmed that it does not have a stock carb.

Pick up a carb and do some research to get those brakes hooked up, and you'll have a fun little bike.
