I am thinking about getting a 2012 Kx250f to use in harescrambles and i don't know how reliable the bike would be.  I read in the magazines that they burned through clutches quickly, but if you put stiffer clutch springs and a different clutch in it, it lasted longer. So im wondering if it would be worth getting one cause i ride tight and nasty trails. Any info would be great, thanks!

The 12' kxf is AMAZING for HS racing...i installed tokyo mods clutch springs paid $30 for them...and an FMF 4.1RCT muffler...that's IT. No other changes at all to bike other than a few clicker changes...my last HS was a solid 50mile race with high speed grass track sections and lots of elevation changes and I MADE IT to the finish line on 1 tank of fuel!! That is right...brimmed the tank, never pitted!! Not on the throttle like some but i do race A class here in MN. For reference my last bike was a 10'crf250....this kaw has WAAY more power everywhere.

This is great to hear about the 12' especially from an A class rider on stock suspension
