hi guys looking for some advice and opinions from yous lot !!

got a chance of a very low hrs 2006 honda crf 450 one owner and full spares kit with it for a good price the thing is i was planning on going for a 2009 crf 450 with fi and steering dampener , my head is doing circles on what one to go for , i am no way a top class rider and only race for fun every now and then the 06 is going for £2000 the 09 is over 3000 is the difference in bikes worth it ?

I say ride em both and then pick.  But I've never rode an 09..........but if it don't feel a lot better....1000 can rebuild a bike.

I have an 09 lots of querks.
Look at the 06

09 is a better bike once you work out susp.etc...You will find yourself dumping some cash into the 09. The 06 is an awesome bike stock,it will feel better in the air and to me the erogo.are better for me at 5 ft.10.but it doesnt have that planted feel of the 09 in turns.

I would get the 09 just because its newer and I've never owned a FI bike yet but you'll be happy with either of those bikes!!

If you have the opertunity ride both & see which of the 2 suit your type of riding & style.
