Hey all,

Ive got a 10' 450. What would cause coolant to drain out the little hole on the bottom of my water pump cover, or actually its the right side case under the water pump? Is it just a seal? what have I got to do to change it?
Ive got the water pump cover off and the seal look good, but it looks to be further out than the hole in which the coolant would drain out of, thus making me think there is another seal past that one.?
Thanks for the input

Since you have the cover off. Take the nut off inpeller pull inpeller off of shaft and replace the seal right behind it.if the deeper seal was leaking oil would prob come out.

Hope this helps

anyone have any tips for getting that seal out. Its seems to be cooked right in there. Anything I can use, or do I just have to pic it out in pieces.
Thanks
