Nonetheless, James has proven to be a highly polarizing figure.   But, its safe to say that his image  and perceptions of him will improve if he can just start winning again.

I didn't understand why he showed up, but I completely understood why he went home.   Outdoors is not where the bread is buttered.   He wanted a chance to be on the MXDN team.   He found out that wasn't going to happen.  So why continue? The team manager didn't want to be there either.

i like how some just skimmed over the article and didnt read the entire thing, then go and rant about JS7. We're all quick to forget that this same guy won 24/24 motos in 2008 and was as good if not better than the GOAT. He was contracted to ride a bike he didnt feel comfortable on and when he signed with JGR Yamaha, they told him they could try to fix the bike. Then he decides that the bike is no more comfortable for him as his L&M bike. He did not once rant on the yamaha or either of the teams. He brought wins to both teams too. He isnt racing for money this summer either

I'm actually glad he quit and have posted my thoughts on it many times. I want to see good racing and James sucked on the new Yamaha. I hope the Suzuki fixes that

I think it's kind of funny that JGR jumped at the 3 year deal Yamaha offered when they could have gone yellow. They wanted long term and they got it. If James does well on the Suzuki JGR is going to have a rough time signing a top rider for the next couple of years. What are the odds that JGR has another brand under their tent next year?

JGR doesn't want a 2nd tier rider they want a championship. RV will be available in a few months and I doubt he would consider riding the Yamaha. JGR wanted Dungey and they knew if they wanted a shot at him they need a different bike....Like a yellow one
