The point I was trying to make is you cant really compare riders from two different era's. Sure RC and JS raced each other but by the time JS was in his prime RC was ready to retire. So  the only thing left to do is look back at the record books. No denying anything you just said! IDK if James could have beat RC in his prime but based on what I saw when they were both around and the best in the world the answer would be no.
