Is $300 bad for an old trailboss 250?

Owner says he parked it because the fuel valve on the tank stopped working and it hasn't run in two years. Are parts still available for these things? is 300 a good deal? tires look ok and it was stored under a garage.
Looking for something for the wife. My riding buddies keep flaking out on me but if I get something for the wife I can drag her along and ride almost every weekend :cry:

you can get used parts if they do not make parts for it. i think they still do though

fixed fuel valve. Runs fine. Ugly and slow. But runs fine lol.
