Was thinking of going down there Saturday, but the main track has MX races on it this weekend.

Anyone have pics or helmet cam video  of the Vintage track?

Thanks,

yup
lots of photos...I race vintage in the pacific northwest Vintage club.

smooth track, vintage friendly jumps, we get modern bikes out there all the time, but when we set up the track (Dan builds to that) we set it for our Premier class vintage bikes which is 1974 and earlier
which means, we set it for a maximum of 4" rear travel, 7" front travel.
so, no triples etc...its fun on a modern bike.

Im planning to go down on Sat to get some motor time on my 1981 YZ465...

Here are our shots from the race we had a few weeks ago at Riverdale.

There is a club building a vintage track a few miles from my house. There was a race held there last summer and I really enjoyed watching it . Been thinking about possibly trying vintage racing out .

I have not rode it since they redid it (Im in Afghanistan now) but I loved, absolutely LOVED it before,it was super fun on my KX250F, jumps are big enough to be fun and throw some small whips/scrubs but not so big where you get hurt if you come up short (including the double in the back)  what all did he change when he redid it? I dont have the bandwidth to view the video

I wish there was a track around that was a mix of the 2...not quite as crazy as the "modern" track but just slightly more jumpier than the "vintage" track.  Love the double on the vintage track, but wish the tables aired you out a bit more...they seems sorta anti-climatic for a 4th gear run lol

If anyone has ever rode in SoCal, the perfect, absolutely PERFECT track for my skill level (or age level lol) is the Competitive Edge hillside track in Hesperia ,look it up, it is AMAZING, I wish there was a track around that mimicked that one!
