I had the pleasure of meeting this guy on Sunday called Craig Parks. Craig had lost his arm in a road accident a few years ago. An average person would just give up on ever riding a bike gain, but Craig's desire and determination to get back on a bike was unstoppable! Watching him ride round the track was simply amazing and awesome, he was still hauling ass and passing so many people! The least i could do was make this film for him this guy is just inspirational really.... Amazing!

There is a kid in Calgary whos missing an arm too. He was born that way though. I'm pretty sure he qualified for the pro national in Canada last year. Super talented and fast but I would be too if I rode 3hrs a day everyday.

There is a guy that races AMA/DMG Pro Flattrack that has one arm. Amazing to see him at the Springfield Mile pitching that 450 into the corners at 110 MPH.

There are two of them around here.

One of them hauls ass.  Not for a guy with one arm; for an average rider he is FAST.  For a one armed rider he is amazing.

There was a guy I saw down at Glen Helen a few years ago.  His name excapes me as it was a while ago....but he was paralyzed waist down.  He had crash bars on the bike with a speciall seat and his legs were attached to the bike.  He was faster than 50+% of the guys out there...clearing some stuff it took me a while to work up to...and he has to ride the whole track sitting down.  He was awesome to watch...and his line selection was superb.

Awesome! I have been trying to figure out an all left control set up for my nephew. Due to a birth defect his right am is about as useful as the prosthetic. He is 32 now and big into single speed mountain biking with both front and rear brakes on the left.

I had been thinking a left thumb throttle and left front brake with an auto clutch.

Way cool, just shows me it can be done.

and you are the captain of that crew!
yiou been riding much?  I'm supposed to be over in Utah riding the Cherry Creek National H&H,  but my inlaws screwed me.  wifes out of town,  those bastages were supposed to take care of the animals and irrigation,  but they felt the need to go on holiday right now -  holiday from? being retired, me feeding and housing them?  life must be tough!  so my 300 is over in Utah raring to go,  and I'm sitting here watering tomatoes and scheming ways to kill a horse with a heart attack!

Oh well,  need to do an engine swap in the race car, and put in the 450 motor back into the husky, so at least i will stay busy.
Haven't rode up Jose Basin,on motorcycles lately ,  but I am riding my bicycle up the paved road for workout,.  seeing 1 or 2 rattle snakes a day!
