what happened is when i was putting on new shrouds and graphics on my bike i couldn't get a bolt out on my tank. the hole thing was just spinning. i got the bolt out some how. (it was a 3 tool 2 man job lol) but know im afraid if i tighten it again it will spin if i need to take it off. well i know it will.

Common problem on KDX tanks. Most people put the bolt in and spin it with a drill until the plastic around the brass nut melts enough to pull the nut out, then glue it back in with epoxy. I would then advise putting a small amount of clear RTV on the bolt threads as a mild thread locker. When you put your shrouds on you can tighten the bolt down just enough to hold the shroud, without really tightening it. The RTV will keep it from vibrating out. This will make the epoxy glue job hold up a lot longer.
Hope this helps.. :banghead:
