If anyone has any idea how to deal with this I would much appreciate it! even Send you a six pack!
I have a 1988 DT200R, Driving me crazy, just rebuilt bottom end, new Primary drive $250 etc...I am committed and should be committed. Now I think I have CDI Problems, Bike runs like crap sometimes and like a Ferrrari other times...runs great than stops on the road.  The last time it did that was it, I took off the gas tank and shook the CDI and Bingo it was running well...for about 3km, than I had to do it again on the side of the road.
Please Please tell me thisbike is not shot!, I love it! even though it treats me like crap.
Trying desperately to find someone who can ficx cdi, or where I can find an aftermarket replacement, why is this bike so hard to get parts for!!! Even tried to open up the black box today, its just a block of blue jelly! Thanks guys and if any one can give me a solution to get it back on the road i'd gladly mail you a box of labatts finest Pilsner
