Hey i'm completely tearing down my bike. There are just a bunch of noticeable spots all over the bike here and there that just catch my attention that i don't like to look at and are really hard to clean and get to when the bikes just on the stand. Some spots are impossible to get to. I am just wondering what products i should use and what would be the best for all of the aluminum? Also i really want to make my engine look like new, get rid of all the weird deposits of dirt and grime. i know some is almost impossible but i really want to make it look mint! I know it'll get dirty again the next time i ride but i also know it'll take a little while to get those spots that dirty again. i just want to get it as clean as possible. If anyone has any hints/tips on techniques or good chemicals/products i should use that'd be great. Im stripping it down to the frame and taking engine out everything.

Simple Green works ok. Compressed air helps in the cleaning process as well as multiple small brushes. I used oven cleaner to remove discoloration on a bare aluminum eng. cylinder (don't leave it on too long).
