I decided to clean the hose before I put it back on the bike after checking valves. The hose does a 90 then slopes down. I looked inside and saw cheet grass in the bend, like 5. How the hell did it suck it all the way to the other end? How much stuff has gotten past into the engine?
I had a yz450 that sucked up sand so I routed a filter in the airbox. This is bringing back bad memories.
Cheet grass always has a way of pissing me off. If its not going through a dogs paw its getting stuck in my socks and now it's in my vent hose.
Vent hose stuff inside

ahh im for ever digging them outta my dogs fur there nasty and will push into there skin and could kill them
your breather vent will suck a little but im shocked that it sucked hard enough for something to get stuck up there
maybe you could put a one way valve on the hose

Every time you use the choke or stall the motor, you pull dirt and crap up your breather hose.
You need to filter them and re-route them.

I think I'll run it into the air box. With the yzf450 I took it to the Oregon dunes and got back and the oil filter housing was full of sand. Air box was fine no leaks. But your right if you started it or stall it with the hose in the sand, up it goes. Same goes for water.
