Picked up a Contour Roam recently and finally got a chance to do some test footage with it.  Wasn't fully geared up, but here is a taste of footage from part of my home track.  Hope ya like it.  I will also have a channel on Youtube with the same name as my new username here, gmoss357.  This one isn't as high a quality as the first one I did.  I edited this one with Windows Movie Maker.  The other, if you check out Youtube, was done using Contour's software.

Thanks heater!  my track is pretty tame.  Can't wait to get out and film some of the real trails.  :banghead:

Music or no music?  maybe I will just lower the sound of it so the bike sound is more prevalent.

You should throw in a bunch of EnduroX type obstacles. :banghead:

I would, but that is where my boys ride.  :banghead:  Plus, I kind of like the flowing technical stuff, not much into climbing truck tires.  lol  you will notice that I don't typically remove a log if I can get over it.

Ya I saw you clutch it up over a couple logs which is where the idea came from.

Definitely no music, especially the stuff you picked!

I wish I had my own home track!

haha, was waiting on someone to comment on the music.  It was something that was on my computer that I had loaded for my son.  The tempo matched pretty well, at least better than Jason Aldean.  LOL

Got about another 1.5 miles I need to clear back out and ride in...

Thanks guys.

nice job gmoss. just my 2 cents but i always like to hear the bike with no music. i watch a lot of vids to learn from them. always looking to improve my skills. i listen to throttle, they way people clutch, rpm's and such. cant tell anything about how a person rides and controls their bike with music. also, where in NC are you?

Hey RRN.  Thanks, I think there are times when music is appropriate, others not.  I still like to hear the bike though.  The first video's I had the volume down some because I didn't know how loud it needed to be. I will be posting another video soon without music, added comments instead to keep it interesting.  lol

I am located north of Charlotte.
