so you must work there or atleast know the guys pretty well, whats your opinion on all of this?

No I don't work for Leatt, and only know one person there, that is why I was surprised to see myself in the video. Chris is a good friend and riding buddy of mine, but we seldom talk shop.

I don't really have an opinion, apart from the fact that I think the brace works and I ride with one.

The action that has killed the most people so far, is feet first, butt down. The brace digs into the ground, popping your head like a bottle opener!

The above scenario actually makes sense, and I've gone over the bars lots of times so it makes me think...

So, from reading all this I believe you aren't the best communicator but probably know what you're talking about, and I feel you may be right, because why else would you be so passionate?  In fact, as my personal choice I probably am going to shed my Leatt and maybe buy one of those Omega's or one like it in the future.  But I think what a bunch of the guys on here are trying to say is, "Where is the real evidence?"

I understand that if Leatt settles out of court, then lips must be legally sealed; however, if there have been several doctors claiming that the Leatt caused deaths, then even if they're barred from speaking about a specific case, why can't they generically state that the Leatt is dangerous?  You said in one of your posts that the doctors don't want it happening again so why don't I see a doctor's statement somewhere?  I'm sure there's at least a couple that have enough empathy to speak out for human sake, so it seems really easy in my mind that you could shut all of the opposition up by merely getting a doctor to state what you're saying they already have stated.  It would be a general opinion on a product and therefore legal, since it's not about any specific cases, right?

I don't doubt you, but coming from a skeptical point of view, you have not shown an ounce of proof.  And personally, if I were in your shoes and knew first hand what you're telling us, I'd stop wasting my time on here with hearsay and figure out a way to show us and the rest of the mx world those doctors' opinions.  That is what will really get people to open their eyes!

Thanks!
