I won't lie, the first time i ever rode (a kx125 i actually still have because it's the bomb now that I know how to ride haha) i did basically the exact same thing.  came to corner and was goign too fast, froze up adn ended up with a fist full of throttle (though i actually wheelied my friends said) right into a 7' deep ditch. luckily it was all mud and some water at the bottom and the bike's read must have hit something right before my take off because it ended up hitting the ditch wall sideways rather then head on.

Hope that chick heals up and gets back at it!

When your girlfriend has the same last name as you, you might be a red neck.

screw all of that women have a difficult time using the brakes, mine does the same shit, so until she learns to use the damn brakes she wont be back on it.  i watched her go 100 yards on a backroad, came to a fairly sharp turned. used no brakes, stayed into the throttle and when straigt off the road bc she couldnt make the turn. over the hill she went and did a scorpion faceplant and ruined my brand new helmet, snapped my visor clean off. last time she rides the little ttr125 til she understands that brakes are your friend

All I can say is wow, you put someone on a bike who doesnt know how to control it, she crashes, scratches a helmet and your on here bitching about it?  You are a grade A jackass, its your damn fault.  Hopefully she leaves your dumbass before you get her seriously hurt.

ok, when I watched that I couldn't help but picture it being my own wife. That was both scarry and a little bit cool at the same time. Scarry that she obviously was not experienced enough yet but that looked like a great trail for someone like her to learn on? Scarry that she got busted up as much as she did, knowing my wife she would have asked me to sell her bike right after that. Cool in the fact that without trying, she damn near cleared that gap that most of us with tons of experience would not try and cool in the fact that if she keeps on riding, she just got her first major crash of many to come and now has a cool ass story to tell for years to come!

Anyway...

I am jealous that your girlfriend races now. I envy that, mine will not even sit on one with the kickstand down.

bet which ever way you would like, and anything I said on here would be said in person.  The comment wasnt an attack, my brother in law is from there and says everyone from west virginia is a hillbilly,  sure it seemed like that since we don't know each other.  The other stuff I stand behind.  Plain and simple you sounded like an ass bitching about your girl scratching your helmet because she doesnt know how to use brakes, nothing about her being OK after the fact.

Good looking girl, but do we really know thats her?  Or you for that matter.  And yes, there are lots of good looking girls down here, shoot me a PM if you get down here, I'll hook you up with one.

I dont throw my two cents in on everything, just the some of the idiot stuff from time to time.  Most of my posts have been looking for or giving advice to fellow enthusiasts.

Name dropping?  c'mon red.

Tough girl. Proud of her getting back on the bike. My girl rides a DRZ 400 E. That scared me when I saw the other view. :banghead:

ouch. seen that a couple of times. ouch. as far as little experience, well that is how you learn to ride. do a few opps and get out and ride again. glad to see she is back up and riding. more then one novice rider has hung it up over a crash like that. you can learn all the basics, heck you can be a master, but till you get in panic mode you don't have a clue what you will really do.heck i still try to run over my foot with a 4wheeler yep i know in head i should not put my foot out by i do.

On the girls can't ride bit...don't tell my sister that.

Probably should have made sure she had the basics down before taking her wherever you were at.. :banghead: Poor thing.

Honestly, unless she gets a lot of experience racing and riding, then she will have a harder time than a male would just because they naturally are less adept to being able to manipulate objects like dirt bikes.
