I made a thread regarding some fuel issues in the FCR carb, but I think I am solved those. But when I pulled the carb apart further to inspect things......I pulled the TPS sensor off like an idiot. Now this quad won't fire.......it'll turn over all day long though.
1. With the key on, I checked the blue wire to the TPS and have 5v. I checked the yellow wire (the signal wire), and I have NO voltage.
2. Sporadically, when I am checking for signal voltage on the yellow TPS wire.......I will pin the blue wire again for system voltage.....and there is nothing. When I sporadically have no source voltage, I change the ground to my meter to make sure that is not the issue.
3. I have turned the TPS sensor drastically in both directions, but still cannot get any voltage on the signal wire......even when applying the accelerator. I understand the method to get the TPS set in the proper location, but obviously can't do it........since I have no voltage.
Backstory to the whole problem:
http://www.thumperta...lp-if-you-wish/
So I get the carb all back together, new parts throughout......but pulled the TPS off. So now I was probably ready to deliver the quad back to its owner, but I have no fire. Ugh......
Anyone have any ideas? Fwiw, its a 2005 model.
