Ah-h-h-h the internet.  Whats this site about?  Very entertaining tho.  It would be interesting to see all these "contributors" in person.  We'd probably all have a good time tho in spite of their internet personalities.  How about we all go for a ride at Gorman

I'll be at Gorman tomorrow, line 66.

Anybody that wants to come by and give the old ponytail a tug should feel free.

Sounds like some of this is directed towards me

Not at all.  I was talking about my life style rather than defend against the personal insults being tossed about.  A more positive approach.  Assuming some reverse implication is all your own.  I have no problem expressing myself directly.  Half of the drama goes away if people quit assuming some hidden meaning in everything everyone else says.  Why do so many people try to dig insults out of a post.  Is it really that fun to always be looking to be butt hurt ?  Never will understand this...  or why it exists so overwhelmingly on TT.

Example...  the ONLY time I have ever had any involvement with Schmo was when I helped him online find a deal on some parts he needed (for which he was highly appreciative at the time)...  and I congratulated him and participated in his schmotovan discussion.    He went on a few rides with a guy I do consider a tool who feels like wise about me and I've been on the schmo insult list every since.   It's pure grade school level drama.  I guess a Gorman thread on TT is the best place for it.

The name calling and personal insults sent my direction rise far above anything I have ever said on the insult meter but that doesn't seem to register with a few.  Whatever...  it's the internet.

DOLT OUT

I don't know anything about the history of the Intermediates vs. The Riders....but I hope it gets taken care of quickly before a Gang war erupts and we have to hear about it on Thumper Talk.  As for you and I.....I'm glad we sorted it out

You are making me laugh.  There is No war between Riders and Intermediate group.  in-fact, there are quite a few of us that belong to both and partake in rides from both. good guys and gals. Jeff and I don't always agree, but that's it. when it's all said and done, we ride. Anyone is welcome to ride with us, even Jeff, lolol. and Jeff has opened his invites to me as well. The internet is a crazy place.  things can easily be misunderstood or taken wrongly. I went from. Damn, that bolt character is a bonehead, to hmmm, Jeff isn't all that bad.  There are times I wanna put a stick in his spokes and roost the Mother effer. Other times, I may agree with him. But, there is no war. LOLOLOL.

Really isn't one.  In fact, some of the same guys hang with both groups.  One is a thread on TT...  one is a Calendar of events on a website called RIDERS.  Personalities all belong to the individuals involved.  Of the few that sit on the sidelines and toss stones it isn't any different than people arguing over Cats vs Dogs or Fords Vs Chevys.  It's all meaningless.

99% of the guys I've met thru TT or out on the trail have been good guys that I'd have no issue riding with again . . . ridden with plenty of the Riders crew and they're no different.  I'm sure Bolt is part of that 99% . Riders is a good group of cool people just like the riders you'll find here. Luckily internet personalities and web scuffles have never put a damper on our rides and everybody having a good time. Hopefully one of these days our paths will cross and we can get out for a good ride and share a beer after.

That's good...I'm glad you guys can bury the hatchet.  Good thing I was brought up to have thick skin or that "moto queen" statement could have really done some damage to my self esteem

I dont belong to either gang...but have ridden with a few guys here on TT and everyone I've met have been good people.

Can't we all just get along?! Lol

Apparently this has happened before.  They throw mud at each other for a few days then kiss and make up....

I'm sure everyone is pretty nice in person.

It's funny, the more I read through past threads...the more I'm amazed how thin-skinned people are

In relation to your second statement....I'm starting to think some of you Thumper Talkers have a meat gazing problem :ride:

They are depends... But I call them my panties..
My Saturdays are booked until june 16th, sundays are free except for the holiday weekend (next) .

We could setup a hybrid tour of Hungry valley secrets then head on up into the forest. You would love the Buttcrack, Piru, Arrastra., whata, to name a few.

Buttcrack does look fun from what I've seen from your vids.  The others I have been on, but about 5 years ago

It's ok but the forest stuff is way better.  The buttcrack trail is more of a novelty because it's hidden in plain view  .  I really need to pick up a year-round dirt scooter

I hang out at a bunch of other forums. One thing for sure is I have met some of the COOLEST people through Jeff and the Riders group. What's a trip is how different we are in person!

OTOH, The ADV guys are a mix of good and really really bad. When I say bad I mean the kind of guys who know one throttle position (wide open) and god help you if you crash. You WILL be left behind to die. I don't care to ride with those kind of people……...
