I hang out at a bunch of other forums. One thing for sure is I have met some of the COOLEST people through Jeff and the Riders group. What's a trip is how different we are in person!

OTOH, The ADV guys are a mix of good and really really bad. When I say bad I mean the kind of guys who know one throttle position (wide open) and god help you if you crash. You WILL be left behind to die. I don't care to ride with those kind of people……...

There is nothing wrong at all with riding fast.  When I first started learning offroad I was always in the back of the pack.  But the guys I rode with always made sure to wait for me at road crossings.  Offroad people are good people

TT has had a negative vib for a long time.  I ride a lot of forums including our own.  They all have a bit different tone.  I typically check in on all of them at the same time.  And the last one I look at is TT.  I expect BS.  I come here almost defensive and feel good when I get to log off without experiencing any.  I don't feel that way on any other forums.  And I only support this one financially and check in because it is still one of the largest and is a good place to reach people and stay informed on some of the important stuff.  I know a lot of bike guys...  many of which I have met online.  We all share similar feelings about his place.

BillP says it best:  "You can check out anytime you like...  but you can never leave !"

I usually visit websites in order from Least drama......to most drama.  Lately this has been my last stop, right after I visit the TMZ site.  But I've found myself recently waking up in a cold sweat, frantically searching for my smart phone to log into TT latest drama
