KX250 or KDX ?

KX250 or KDX 200  ... i recieved a message asking me if I'd be interested in this bike .. individual was told it was a 2001 KX250 with after market forks?
I'm starting to think mid 90's KDX ... can see spot on swingarm for kickstand

Waiting on VIN # to check it out !!

Can't see your link so I'll hazard to guess maybe a KDX250?

Got the vin# 1993 KDX250

guy seems clueless on questions i'm sking..says it only needs a head gasket?
top end gasket kit is what? $25

2hrs away  .. might be a nice resto? ....or maybe a waste of time

Never know until you go have a look. Might be a fun restore.. Or a vast $$ pit. :banghead:

And yeah, both KX and KDX had blue forks on them in '93.

wants $400 ... came down to 3 already... doesn;t know why jug was pulled? ...wondering did this model have power valve or KIPS ?
maybe needs placed or cleaned?
I'm on vacation .. may think about it ...may take a road trip ...


also my understanding this motor is / was based off the 86 or 89 KX250 motor?

A KDX250 engine is similar to an '89 / '90 time frame KX design, but not the same.

Try to see what a complete, fully working KDX250 is worth before you buy a non-working one with MAJOR problems.
