Carpal surgery recovery time?

Wondering how long it takes to recover from carpal surgery?  Mostly, how long till I can rider after the surgery?

My patients are back in the saddle by three weeks.

What if you added ulnar nerve release as well?  Or rather, ever since I got the cortisone shot the area of the hand associated with the ulnar is giving me problems.  Is that related?  Should I have them look at my elbow?

ulna nerve decompression add just about nothing to the procedure.
