Man o man why did i start.
Decided to give my carb a much need overhaul
While removing the bugger I managed to split both intake boots on the cylinder head.... cant get them for love nor money..... I think Im going to have to go do the fabrication of ali pipe work, welded on ali the collars and use silcone hose to join to the carb......
I shall never learn....

I got a set about two years ago through a local yamaha dealer here in the United States.. part #s 55v-13586-01-00 and 42U-12596-01-00. I reckon its different in the UK. Ive been meaning to hunt down some aftermarket replacements as I plan to build another xt350 engine soon. I'm sure they are out there in aftermarket form but most likely without the little rubber piece that keeps the clamp from spinning when tightening them down. I'll definately post and let you xt350 guys know if I find some.

Was looking at XT600 ones, look sooo similar but have different part numbers on bike bandit.com

Unfortunately I'm pretty sure the spacing between the bolt holes is larger on the xt600. When I get back to the shop tomorrow I'll try and get a measurement of both an xt600 and xt350 head to make absolutely sure. I think the xt600 carbs have bigger venturis and therefore bigger holes in the manifolds also though. A good many older Polaris ATVs use manifolds that are similar but again the problem is with the smaller hole size of the manifold even if we can find some that bolt up.

Yea tried some honda cb250 ones, bigger one end and the mount holes a few mm too wide

it would but then its the hassle of getting the carb end padded out for the larger bore, ways and mean tho lol

is there a difference in 87 and 93? i just ordered them for my 93 from power sports plus.. 45 bucks a piece.. or is it just that you are in the UK?

As far as I know theres no difference if your stateside, in the UK the XT got restricted due to emmisions regs in the 90's but I think its only a small flap in the carb boot, you didnt have that problem so it should only be the full fat boots for all years in the USA
