I usually do not notice it while it is me riding alone, but when my fiance and I go out for a ride I notice a little bit of a shake/vibrate while in lower rpms. I know they are shaky in really low rpms, but when you get close to the "float point" (a term i use to describe the point where the motor reaches an rpm that it is not working to keep the bike moving, just kinda floating) i sense the vibration for about 2/3 seconds then  it quits. Im just wondering if its the nature of the beast, as in that may be the resonating point, or if its been seen before and may need addressed.

The big DR can be a noisey bike. The pulses from the engine cause the drive chain to slap up and down and cause some noise and vibration if not adjusted correctly. If you are hauling a passenger make sure your chain is adjusted correctly or you could do some damage to your bike. Hauling extra weight like a passenger or gear/equipment may require suspension changes and possible sprocket changes to keep from lugging the engine to much.
