The map section in the upper right has the most trail available for 4-wheels and you must camp at the trail head.

My understanding is the Monache Meadow Rd shown in the link is not at all challenging, 4WD not necessary. The portion on the INYO NF has been graded and is classified as a road vs trail.
I am somewhat familiar with the issue because privet property owners at Monache Md have asked to have the Sequoia segment better maintained for easer access for trailers and such.

You could do the Sherman Pass Jeep Trail(s) but you would have to stage at the start of the jeep trail not at camp.

If you are at troy or fish.  the rangers will not let you take them off the trailer/truck. We had my Daughter and Grandson's quads in the back of the truck, they had to stay there, then we trucked them up to monarch meadows for a ride, then trucked them back.

Good.  If you must use derogatory terms to describe those types of guys that ride double wheels, say quadtarded.  it's more politically correct.

Hmmm, I'm politically correct challenged......I just can't help my self, so I'be been taking classes in sensitivity.  The only problem is, the moron liberal qu..r that teaches the class is also some asshat tree hugger that's been giving me a hard time riding the PCT on the same day he's up there knuckle dragging his way around eating granola and pine nuts.

Ooops, I think I hear the PC police outside gotta go.....have to hide those red markers I've been collecting

What are the trails like here?  Are they true expert level trails or the "expert" level trails that you would find in that shit-hole called rowher flats?

There's plenty up in KM for guys like me that aren't experts.  The thing I noticed about KM though is you don't get too many breaks . . . Rowher has a tough section here, then a break and it eases up.  KM is just not stop, there's always a rock, root, log, etc to look out for.  KM is true single track and the scenery is breath taking.

That sounds fun, I always get a chuckle when somebody mentions rowher and single track in the same sentence Lol

If it's anything like LPNF I'll be in hog heaven!!  I rode that place for the first time a couple months ago in a decent little snow storm and it was so much fun! :banghead:

My percentages may be off but I would say it's close to 70% intermediate (at best) and then the rest is above that level.  You have to pick the right trails if you want the really challenging stuff, but for the most part it's more fun than anything that is legal at Rowher.

If you like LPNF, you'll be more than in hog heaven.  LPNF was my favorite spot until I went to KM.  Was a major factor in getting a 2 stroke and why the red sticker didn't bother me as much as at least I can take it up to KM.
