I have a 2006 kx250f that has a brand new top end because it was burning oil, like smoking because it was so bad. Now it doesnt smoke but it seems its still burning because I had to add a shit load of oil since the last time i rode. Do all '06 kx250f's do this? Anyone who has or had one please let me know.

What exactly was done to the top end ? Re-bore, piston rings, valve guides / seals ?

Did you check the compression? Even if you replaced the top end (i'm assuming piston and rings) the cylinder may be worn as well so your rings aren't sealing correctly. Just a thought?

Were the valve's & guides checked against service manual spec's ?

"the piston fit perfectly in the cylinder so i dont think its worn"  Was this a hand / eye ball measurment or did you properly mic the bore ?
