Clutch Slip and Noise... now a question.

Okay, so I have a clutch that is slipping. Think it may have to do with a previous owner or something using car oil but really not too sure. The bike is an 05, ridden pretty hard and has around 12k Miles on it.

If you take off and slam it in gear, it slips. If you take it into 5th and gun it, it slips....

Now here is the question....

The slip in 5th gear seems to be causing a noise on the left hand side of the bike (motor) where the C/S is? When I give it gas it slips and makes a sort of clicking noise.

Any input on this is appreciated.
