Not the only reason but I bet thats a big part of it. I think james wants to redeem himself, im ready to watch the show next week. I'll be at hangtown.
Well everyone is entitled to an opinion. &%$#@! does he have to redeem himself for regarding MXdN? Getting screwed over last year (even though there was no way he was ready for it)?
why does everyone think js7 is all of a suddenly going to win because he switched bikes? last time i checked the race is more rider than machine
Wow! This post is like finding a priceless pearl in a heap of elephant dung! Now let the TT experts come and let you know it is actually the bike and not the rider. The rider is just needed to start it and get the hole shot I guess. Oh yeah, and get the Rock Hard Ride Hard award if they overcome adversity in the eyes of Brett Michaels.

No I mean redeem himself in the eyes of the fans, he know's where he stands with a lot of folks and JS has the biggest ego of all the guys in my opinion. Even he himself realizes he is not achieving what he expected of himself, now he seems ready to fight for it a bit. I wish him luck, it will be fun to watch but i don't think he is going to realize his goals.

so you guys are saying if james starts dominating on this zuki it will have nothing to do with the bike? i really want to get this right so when he does i can look for you guys in here saying you were wrong on the bike not being part of the problem!
I'm agreeing with many on the Yamaha thing. Not at all that Yamaha is a bad bike, just doesn't blend with me for some reason. I had one briefly but didn't like it at all, just my riding style I guess... it felt long as a train, top heavy, couldn't ever trust the front-end, turning it felt like a fight. Not to insult the Yam riders though, I've got many friends on them, they ride them well... I don't like them.
I bet JS would rock on a Zuke or Honda, but I also think much of his crashing is like Pastrana... brain farts, when the pressure is on, he goes ADD.
So which crashes from 2012 were from crashes caused by Yamaha? Everyone looks like a Stewart problem to me, but what do I know.
apparently nothing by this response! let me attempt to do this one more time...
saying the bike is the cause of the crash all the time is like saying guns kill people. I'm not saying that in anyway... js crashes.. thats not a shocker! he will crash the zuki.. no doubt! he has always had the crash or win or crash and then still win mindset. some like it some don't!
now lets talk about the bike "a tool!" when a tool is working properly it will help the user build something. right? and when the tool isn't working properly the user will smash a thumb or brake something, and just make building things take forever until you learn how to use the tool diff. following me? now back to the bike. js had a tool "the bike" that wasn't working properly. yes it could get the job done but not very efficiently for JAMES! james never could learn how to use the tool diff to work for him. (a fault of his) is the yami unrideable? NO is it still going to be able to be used? YES can others win on it? well we still haven't seen that happen have we? I'm sure someone could but i bet we don't see it on this model without drastic changes to 2013 models!
Bottom line is lots of people forget what he is like when he has a bike that he likes under him and working properly. you will be reminded that he was faster outside than inside... inside just pays better! and your a clown if you think that they (EVERY RACER) is doing this just to do it. they make MONEY! its a JOB! Short Term Selective Memory! we will use STSM from now on!
My memory is crystal clear, he crashed in 10 races out if the 12 he raced in 2012. He crashed in 6+ times in the 17 races he entered in 2011. He also pulled off and pouted the last time he tried racing Dungey outdoors because he couldn't hang, motorcycle maybe, but only a panzy pulles off and pouts.
T-doshi, you seem to forget that Stewart has forgotten how to race. He hasn't raced well since 2009 and it's not 100% the motorcycle, it's only 10% the motorcycle.

If James does well on the Suzuki then the Yamaha will get lambasted but if James has multiple crashes and has a poor showing then Yamaha will have a new add slogan for the YZ450F

Bubba does look good on the Suzuki just seen some photos of him on vital scrubbing the shit outta it at Glen helen http://www.vitalmx.c...o-Hangtown,3746
anyways heres a thought James grew up on the Kawi and was at his best there in my opinion, now some people might had forgot
that Kawi and Suzuki designed the KXF and RMZ together, now i know its been a few years since that 1st gen of green or yellow 450s
but i wonder how different the chassies are now on the new bikes?
looking back at last years mx id say Dungey will have the speed to win but you just cant count James out even though its been a while
since he raced outdoors he is a very talented rider
everyone knows JS can scrub..... so that's nothing new. I don't know why anyone would not want James to return as a podium contender, otherwise 2012 mx might be the dungy show.
RV sandbags the first two races on the sidelines and then comes out to race and sweeps the rest of the season, defending his title and walking away with the number 1 plate for the second year.

looks like Towelie is on Vital as sbarrington314 you can see his comment's. He's a cling dinger over there also.
I predict Shorty takes it, Dungy will lead most of the season and then miss the last 5 races. Stewart will continue to win practice and be a non factor during actual racing. Davi Milsaps for second, and Alessi for 3rd.
i believe i owe you an apology. for my earlier posts, i had 0 faith in stewart, after seeing helmet cam footy and thinking it over. heres my current opinion, IF he doesn't crash, he will dominate. I think dungey is hoping for him to crash out of most races so he can play it safe to a championship, but i think stewart may have his shit together this year. im hoping to see the old stewart back.
