I recently purchased a 2007 RMZ 450 which is completely stock except for a FMF power bomb exhaust. I just put in a new spark plug and thoroughly cleaned the carb. inside and out. Put it back together and it fired right up. Seems to have good throttle response, but I noticed that the head pipe was glowing red. Is this due to a lean condition, or is this characteristic to the titanium exhaust? If it is lean, what jetting is recommended? Thanks for your help!

People ask this question pretty frequently but it really depends, is it sitting still? How long is it running on the stand? Does it idle too high? Does it pop when ur riding it? If you think it is lean then go richer on the jet til you get black smoke

Glowing pipe is normal if there is no air flow to cool it off........ sitting on the stand with motor running.
