Hi There
Does anyone know if the '87 SRX250 crankshaft is interchangable with the TT250 DOHC cranksharft? and if the piston pin hole in  the rod is the same. The SRX250 and the TT350 have the same part numbers for conrod, crank pin crank bearings, but i cant find info on the TT250 crank.
i have a TT250 DOHC that has 'spun' the flywheel side main crank bearing on the sharft and the piston pin hole of the con rod is buggered as well, was told when i brought the bike it had  a new rod kit installed six months beforehand (supplyed me with receipts).
after say 50mins riding at home i noticed oil comming from flywheel sidecover, after dismantling found all these dramas! Even the oil
ring gaps were in the same position! rrrr (brought a Lemon!).
So im on the hunt for a secondhand TT250 crankshaft but its proving to be a little difficult here in NZ.

I have a complete bottom of a XT 250 Motor ,but the piston pin hole is smaller and the crank is different,so other option i thought was to get a XT piston and use my TT barroll and head? would like to keep it a TT though.
Whats the difference between the XT and TT 250 DOHC motors ?

Any info much appreciated
Cheers.
